I recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely property just a leisurely 10-minute stroll from the heart of York. As an Englishman who enjoys a good retreat, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the spacious and warm environment it offered. It was the kind of setup where my family and I could spread out comfortably, without feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was impressively equipped, and I savored the small touches like having essentials stocked—hello, tea and coffee! We were greeted warmly by Julie, who showed us around the place. A complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates added a nice touch to our arrival. The courtyard was tranquil, perfect for a quiet evening after our city explorations. Having off-street parking was also incredibly useful, though a bit of skill was required for maneuvering our way in and out.
